Fuel Truck Driver – CDL Class B / Hazmat / Tanker

Position Summary

Lindamood Inc. is seeking a skilled and safety-driven Fuel Truck Driver to support heavy civil and demolition operations by transporting fuel to company vehicles and heavy equipment at active job sites. This role also supports equipment readiness by performing routine preventive maintenance checks and services as required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Safely operate a commercial fuel truck to and from company facilities and active job sites
• Transport and dispense fuel to company vehicles and heavy equipment
• Perform routine preventive maintenance checks and services on equipment as required
• Conduct detailed pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the fuel truck and associated equipment
• Maintain accurate fuel delivery, service, and daily operating records
• Follow all applicable DOT requirements and company safety procedures during fuel transport and handling
• Identify, document, and report vehicle or equipment damage, maintenance concerns, or mechanical issues
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area on the truck and at job sites
• Communicate with field leadership and supervisors to support timely fueling and equipment servicing
• Complete required administrative tasks, certifications, and safety training

Position Requirements

• Valid State-issued CDL Class B
• Valid Hazmat and Tanker endorsements
• Minimum three (3) years of fuel truck driving or similar commercial driving experience
• Previous experience performing preventive maintenance checks on heavy equipment
• Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety requirements related to fuel and hazardous materials
• Acceptable driving record
• Ability to obtain and maintain all required DOT medical certifications and pass required drug/alcohol testing
• Ability to work independently and follow detailed instructions
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Construction, demolition, heavy civil, or similar industry experience preferred

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Ability to safely work around commercial vehicles, heavy equipment, and active construction environments
• Ability to properly wear and utilize required PPE
• Ability to identify hazards and communicate safety or equipment concerns effectively
