Full Stack Software Developer

Our client is a U.S.-based technology company specializing in developing digital transformation solutions for businesses in the manufacturing, distribution, and specialty services sectors. Its approach focuses on connecting different business processes through integrated software platforms that encompass ERP and CRM systems, mobile applications, production operations, and collaboration tools.

Its technology ecosystem includes Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, Power BI, Microsoft 365, and modern .NET development technologies.

The company is currently looking to add a Full Stack Software Developer to its Costa Rica team. This person will work collaboratively with engineering professionals in Costa Rica and the United States to develop scalable and intelligent technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain web, server-side, and mobile applications using modern .NET technologies.
• Develop scalable applications, REST APIs, integrations, and services deployed on cloud platforms.
• Build features for web portals, mobile applications, manufacturing plant solutions, and collaboration platforms.
• Integrate applications with ERP and CRM systems, Microsoft 365, and third-party platforms.
• Participate in the development of artificial intelligence-based solutions, including machine learning (ML), optical character recognition (OCR), computer vision, natural language processing, and generative artificial intelligence.
• Develop Power BI dashboards and data-driven business solutions.
• Participate in solution design, code reviews, software testing, and continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) processes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams in Costa Rica and the United States using Lean Agile methodologies.
• Contribute to continuous improvement, code quality, and the implementation of software development best practices.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• Strong experience with C#, .NET, ASP.NET, and SQL Server.
• Experience with JavaScript and/or TypeScript and modern web development.
• Knowledge of REST APIs, cloud-based applications, and systems integration.
• Experience using Git, Visual Studio and/or VS Code, software testing, and modern software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices.
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes and cloud-based development.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 1 to 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Intermediate to advanced English proficiency, both spoken and written.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently in agile environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms and technologies (Azure, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, and serverless computing).
• Knowledge of frontend development and cross-platform mobile applications.
• Experience with artificial intelligence, machine learning, generative AI, and LLM- or RAG-based applications.
• Knowledge of data, analytics, Power BI, and business intelligence.
• Experience with enterprise systems (ERP, CRM), manufacturing, and supply chain operations.
• Familiarity with Microsoft ecosystem tools (Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, and Microsoft Graph).
• Relevant certifications in Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, or Microsoft development technologies.
