Act as technical advisor for gas specialist / fuel gas systems expert scope during developer bid review and RFP/specification preparation. Lead technical due diligence, verify compliance with project/offtaker requirements, identify risks and deviations, prepare clarifications, support technical evaluation, and contribute to contract schedules and negotiation support.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering discipline
- Professional registration, chartership, or OEM/utility/off-taker experience is preferred
Additional Information
Required Experience
- 10+ years in fuel gas systems for power plants, oil & gas, or IPP projects with technical advisory or EPC design review experience
Technical Expertise
- Fuel gas receiving and conditioning; pressure reducing/metering station; filtration/heating; gas quality; Wobbe index; gas chromatograph; purge/vent; hazardous area; gas compressor where applicable; fuel gas safety. API, ASME B31.3/B31.8 as applicable, NFPA, IECEx/ATEX principles, ISO gas measurement standards, OEM fuel gas requirements
Commercial/Contract Awareness
- Ability to read and comment on IPP/PPA/EPC technical schedules, guarantees, LD-linked performance clauses, interface obligations, acceptance testing requirements, and developer deviations
