Gate Control

• Complete the full range of Gatekeeper duties: guard entrance gate; monitor the activities at the entrance of the Hotel; control traffic to and from the entrance and car parks; be aware of the daily arrivals, departures, groups & VIP guests; greet and screen guests and visitors; check credentials; prevent unauthorized entries; direct guests and visitors; give directions & information; record arrivals and/or people/vehicle leaving; operate internal radio system and telephone; sign for packages/deliveries; contribute to Hotel security; thank and bid farewell,
• Assist with Porters duties when required,
• Respond to guests and visitors needs and requests, resolve issues/complaints/problems in a quick, efficient manner to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and quality service,
• Work proactively, focusing on ensuring that service standards and Hotel policies are achieved,
• Train and coach colleagues so they develop their system knowledge and personal skills,

Requirements

• Having previous experience in a similar work as well as having worked in a similar luxury hotel/environment will be considered additional advantages,
• Detail and face oriented as must continually observe and be aware of numerous behaviors,
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
• Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language used in the workplace.
• Must possess basic computer skills.
• General knowledge of the island where hotel is located and its attractions.

• Extensive knowledge of the hotel, its services and facilities
