Britsafe is a well-established, Yorkshire-based security provider with over 33 years’ experience delivering high-end security solutions to our clients. We are currently recruiting for a professional and reliable Security Officer to join our team at a busy, multi-manned gatehouse.

The Role

You will be working as part of a team in a fast-paced gatehouse environment, responsible for maintaining the safety and security of the site.

Duties include:

• Controlling access and egress of vehicles and visitors

• Monitoring CCTV systems

• Conducting regular patrols across a large site (using a company vehicle)

• Completing reports and maintaining accurate records

• Supporting your team to deliver a consistently high standard of service

Shift Pattern

• 4 on / 4 off rotation

• 4 days (06:00–18:00), 4 off, 4 nights (18:00–06:00), 4 off

• Includes weekend working (you will be off-duty for approximately half of all weekends)

Competitive hourly rate of £13.18

Requirements

A full UK driving licence is essential (due to vehicle patrols in our client’s provided patrol car)

Comfortable using computers for reporting and access control systems

Able to work days, nights, and weekends as part of a rota
