General Accountant

Job Vacancy: General Accountant

A leading accounting and auditing firm located in Amman, Jordan, is seeking a highly qualified and motivated General Accountant to join our professional team. We are specifically looking for a candidate who has gained their core accounting experience working inside commercial and industrial companies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage day-to-day accounting operations for clients and ensure financial accuracy.
• Prepare, review, and post journal entries, bank reconciliations, and general ledger activities.
• Handle accounting functions related to industrial and commercial client operations, including cost accounting, inventory valuation, and supply chain financials.
• Monitor accounts receivable/payable and follow up on aging reports.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly/annual financial statements, closing procedures, and tax filings.

Requirements

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of solid, proven experience in general accounting.
• Essential: Previous corporate experience working directly within Industrial and Commercial companies.
• High proficiency in using professional accounting software, ERP systems, and advanced MS Excel.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and deliver accurate financial reports on time.
