General Laborer - Primoris Heavy Civil - Abilene, TX

Job Overview:

Primoris Heavy Civil is seeking General Laborers to support various construction projects in Abilene, TX. This role involves performing a variety of physical tasks to assist skilled trades and ensure efficient site operations.

Job Responsibilities:
* Perform manual labor duties such as digging, lifting, carrying materials, and clearing debris.
* Assist skilled craft workers (e.g., pipe layers, concrete finishers, equipment operators) as needed.
* Load and unload materials from trucks and other vehicles.
* Clean and prepare construction sites, including sweeping, raking, and removing hazards.
* Operate small hand tools and power tools under supervision.
* Follow all safety procedures and regulations, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE).
* Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
* Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Job Qualifications:
* High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
* Previous experience in a construction or physically demanding environment is a plus.
* Ability to perform strenuous physical labor, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), bending, stooping, and standing for extended periods.
* Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
* Strong work ethic and ability to follow instructions.
* Commitment to safety and adherence to company policies.
* Reliable transportation to and from job sites in the Abilene, TX area.
