Position: General Labourer

Location: Lethbridge, Alberta

This position will be an afternoon shift.

Responsibilities

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Operate, Load and Unload production packaging equipment on assigned line.
• Assists with line changeover, clean up and rework.
• Inspects packaging material to ensure that packaging is correct and undamaged prior to load.
• Performs any of the required tasks including palletizing, case making, bagging, lidding, packing, line supply, etc.
• Lifting up-to 20 kgs, and standing for prolonged periods of time
• Following directions as given by the supervisor.

OE/Lean

• Acts as a resource and champion for department’s continuous improvement activities

Qualifications

• Must have a strong work ethic and excellent attendance.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to perform repetitive and physically demanding work.
• Previous experience in a packaging manufacturing environment preferred.
