Palmdale Regional Medical Center, located in north Los Angeles County and recently awarded an “A” for patient safety by the Leapfrog Group, is proud to serve the residents of the Antelope Valley, Santa Clarita Valley, and surrounding communities with high-quality care. We are currently assisting an established surgical group in recruiting a General Surgery Advanced Practice Provider (APP) for a private practice opportunity providing surgical services at PRMC.

Opportunity highlights:

• Join a well-established, collegial private practice surgery group consisting of three surgeons
• Based in the Palmdale area, with services provided at Palmdale Regional Medical Center
• Role includes operating room support, inpatient consults, and some outpatient clinic coverage
• Preferred: First Assist certification; however, certification may be obtained after start date if not already completed
• Wound care experience is a plus
• Competitive compensation, with a salary range of $130,000 to $140,000, based on relevant experience and scope of work
• Comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, PTO, and paid malpractice

About Palmdale Regional Medical Center, part of Southwest Healthcare, is licensed for 190 beds, with planned expansion to 234 beds. The hospital is designated as an Advanced Primary Stroke Center and includes a 35-bed Emergency Department. PRMC offers inpatient and outpatient surgical services in bariatric, colorectal, orthopedic, neurological, spine, ENT, vascular, plastic, and robotic surgery, including the da Vinci Xi system.

The hospital also provides medical and surgical oncology services in affiliation with City of Hope. Additional services include a wound care center with hyperbaric medicine, as well as the recently added Rehabilitation Institute, which offers both inpatient and outpatient care. PRMC is owned and operated by a subsidiary of Universal Health Services (UHS), one of the nation’s largest hospital and healthcare management companies.
