CLASS 4 DRIVER / OPERATOR – HAMILTON

DRIVE IT. OPERATE IT. GET STUCK IN.

We’re looking for a reliable Class 4 Driver / Operator to join our Hamilton Infrastructure team.

This is a hands-on role combining heavy vehicle operation with practical infrastructure work across Hamilton and the Waikato. You’ll operate specialist vehicles and equipment, work across different sites and jobs, and get involved in the work rather than spending all day behind the wheel.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Operating Class 4 vehicles for infrastructure services, including sweeping and sump maintenance

• Operating specialist equipment and completing hands-on work at sites

• Setting up and packing down equipment

• Completing pre-starts, vehicle checks and basic equipment maintenance

• Working safely around roads, traffic and the public

• Completing job records and reporting any issues

• Working independently and alongside the wider team as required

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• Current Class 4 NZ driver licence

• Heavy vehicle driving experience

• Experience operating specialist equipment is an advantage

• A practical, hands-on approach and willingness to learn

• Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in different conditions

• Reliable, safety-conscious and able to work independently

• Good communication skills and a solid work ethic
