Genset Testing and Validation Engineer

Bring your energy to Aggreko as Genset Testing and Validation Manager based in Pune. You’ll be responsible for planning, executing, and analyzing performance, durability, reliability, and compliance testing of diesel generator sets. The role involves validating engine, alternator, cooling, fuel, exhaust, and control systems to ensure products meet customer expectations, regulatory requirements (CPCB IV) , and company quality standards.

What you’ll do as Technical Author:

• Planned testing and validation infrastructure projects in industry
• Assess future testing requirements based on product development plans and business growth.
• Define infrastructure specifications, layouts, utilities, and equipment requirements.
• Coordinate installation and commissioning of testing equipment and facilities.
• Track project milestones and manage risks to ensure on-time delivery.
• Analyze test demand and facility utilization.
• Support investment planning for future testing requirements.
• Optimize allocation of test assets, equipment, and infrastructure resources.
• Drive facility utilization improvements and cost optimization initiatives.
• Identify opportunities for automation and digitalization of testing infrastructure.

You are:

• 15-20+ years of experience in testing, validation, engineering infrastructure, manufacturing engineering, or project management.
• Knowledge of validation processes and testing environments.
• Should have hands on experience of implementing such systems across other industries.
