JOB PURPOSE

Support product approval of aftermarket steering & suspension product
Work in collaboration with product line, purchase, supplier quality and external suppliers to plan and execute product development and validation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Key Accountabilities

• Collate and record product attributes within the PADB (Product Attribute Data Base) and CCU (Carsource Catalogue Utility) for all new to range part introductions. Collate & update product data in NPI (New Product Introduction) workflow.
• Collate, record and maintain Bill Of Materials within the CCU (Carsource Catalogue Utility) for all new to range part introductions and MCIP related activities.
• Complete RFC (Request for Product Classification) across all new to range part introductions, support technical questions related to product specification for RFC completion.
• Maintain engineering documents in designated repository’s – drawings, design validation reports, product images.
• Support product engineering group with updates and revisions of engineering processes and procedures within the quality management system.

Key Competencies

• BS in Engineering.
• Knowledge and experience of automotive aftermarket is desirable.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills English.
• Must be detail oriented with excellent organization and time management skills with ability to work independently.
• Proficient in computer skills including Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• SharePoint document library administration knowledge.
• Ability to routinely work in a hands-on environment.
