Responsibilities

The Opportunity

The Global Procurement Control System Support Associate Manager serves as the primary business liaison between the Global Procurement Control organization and IT teams, supporting critical procurement and control systems that enable global business operations. This role is responsible for ensuring the stability, effectiveness, and continuous improvement of key business applications, while driving automation, process enhancements, and digital transformation initiatives.

The position supports day-to-day business operations, system administration, user support, project execution, and controls-related activities. The role will partner with cross-functional stakeholders across Procurement, Planning, Control, and IT to identify solutions, improve processes, and deliver strategic system implementations.

Your Impact

Serve as the functional liaison between business users and IT teams for Global Procurement and Control applications, including CCDS, T-Forms, QuickBase, CMS, Business Objects, Selectica, and Ariba CLM.

Administer, maintain, and support critical procurement and control systems to ensure ongoing operational effectiveness.

Manage user access, permissions, licensing, and system governance across supported platforms.

Lead issue resolution efforts by coordinating with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors.

Identify and implement automation opportunities, process improvements, and system enhancements that drive efficiency and reduce manual effort.

Support system upgrades, testing, user acceptance activities, implementations, and post-deployment stabilization efforts.

Partner with cross-functional teams to execute strategic projects and digital transformation initiatives across Global Procurement.

Develop and maintain process documentation, training materials, and user guides.

Create and enhance dashboards, metrics, and reporting solutions to improve business visibility and decision-making.

Support controls-related activities, including system access management, cyclical application controls, master data maintenance, and accounting close support processes.

Qualifications

Who Are We Looking For?

Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.

Experience supporting business applications, systems administration, process improvement, or IT business partnership functions.

Experience working with ERP systems, such as SAP, and business applications in a corporate environment.

Experience participating in system implementations, testing, automation, or digital transformation initiatives.

Technical Skills

Strong knowledge of business systems, applications, and reporting tools.

Experience supporting enterprise applications is preferred.

Understanding of IT support processes, system governance, access controls, and application lifecycle management.

Experience leveraging AI and technology solutions to improve business processes, reporting, and analysis.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess risks and develop practical solutions.

Leadership and Professional Skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for business audiences and business requirements for technical teams.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines and maintaining attention to detail.

Proven ability to influence stakeholders and collaborate effectively across functions and organizational levels.

Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to drive initiatives from concept through implementation.

Results-oriented mindset with demonstrated ability to identify opportunities, solve complex problems, and implement sustainable process improvements.
