Job Overview
New Jerusalem Worship Center is seeking a creative and talented Graphic Designer to join our remote team. This is a full-time position for an individual who is passionate about using their design skills to support our vision of REACHING, TEACHING, RECONCILING, and RELEASING people back into the world to do ministry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating compelling visual content across various platforms that effectively communicates our message and engages our community. You will play a vital role in shaping the visual identity of our organisation and supporting our diverse ministries and events.
Responsibilities
* Conceptualise and create visually appealing graphics for both print and digital media, including social media content, website banners, email campaigns, and promotional materials.
* Design and produce materials for our services and events, such as flyers, brochures, posters, and sermon series graphics.
* Collaborate with ministry leaders and staff to understand project requirements and deliver designs that meet organisational goals.
* Ensure all visual content is consistent with the brand identity and guidelines of the New Jerusalem Worship Center.
* Manage multiple design projects from concept to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and to a high standard.
* Prepare final design files for production with printers and other external vendors.
* Stay current with design trends and technologies to bring fresh and innovative ideas to the team.
Qualifications
* Proven experience working as a Graphic Designer, supported by a strong portfolio showcasing a range of creative projects.
* Proficiency in industry-standard design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
* A strong understanding of design principles, including typography, colour theory, and layout composition.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate creative ideas and receive constructive feedback.
* Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the capacity to prioritise tasks and manage deadlines in a dynamic environment.
* A degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field is preferred.
* Experience working within a non-profit or faith-based organisation is advantageous but not essential.
Benefits
* A competitive hourly wage of $28.00 - $35.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
