Your Role:
You will be leading, mentoring and developing a high-performing finance team while fostering accountability and continuous improvement.
You will be driving efficiency through process improvement and the adoption of modern finance technologies, including enterprise resource planning systems, forecasting tools and artificial intelligence.
You will be overseeing monthly financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow forecasting and financial analysis for internal stakeholders and the parent company.
You will be owning financial governance, including internal controls, statutory audits, Sarbanes Oxley controls and the development of robust financial control frameworks.
You will be leading business partnering activities across central and garrison teams, supporting commercial and project finance functions with forecasting and commentary.
You are a member of the Extended Leadership Team, championing organisational values, innovation, cross-functional collaboration and support to the Finance Director.
What We’re Looking For:
Qualifications: You will hold a recognised accountancy qualification such as ACA, ACCA or CIMA and be degree educated.
Experience: You will have a proven track record of managing teams within a commercial business environment, supported by strong technical accounting knowledge, commercial awareness and experience of VAT and Construction Industry Scheme requirements.
Skills: You will have excellent communication and influencing skills, strong leadership capability, advanced Microsoft Excel and systems knowledge, and the ability to adapt, organise effectively and challenge constructively.
