HEAVY EQUIPMENT AND DIESEL MOBILE MECHANIC
Summary: We are looking for an experienced Heavy Equipment & Diesel Mobile Mechanic to join our team. This is a mobile role with a company service truck provided. The ideal candidate is bilingual (English and Spanish) and skilled in diagnosing and repairing diesel engines and heavy equipment in the field.
Essential Functions:
- Diagnose and repair diesel engines, trucks, and heavy equipment (hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems).
- Perform routine maintenance and emergency field repairs.
- Complete service reports and keep accurate records.
- Ensure safety standards are followed at all times.
- Communicate clearly with supervisors, dispatch, and customers in English and Spanish.
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Technical training certifications in diesel/heavy equipment repair required.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a diesel or heavy equipment mechanic.
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Must be familiar with CAT, Deere, Volvo, Komatsu, Mack, and Peterbilt equipment.
- Valid driver’s license and a minimum of three years of driving experience with a clean driving history. CDL a plus.
- Must be able to lift heavy parts and work outdoors.
- Bilingual proficiency in (English and Spanish) required.
