Position Overview

Seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Maintenance Technician to handle repairs and preventive maintenance on heavy equipment, trucks, trailers, cranes, and other motorized equipment. This is a hands-on position requiring strong mechanical skills and flexibility to respond to emergency repairs.

What You'll Do

Diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy equipment, trucks, trailers, cranes, and other motorized equipment.

Review daily assignments with the Shop Foreman and prioritize repair work.

Keep necessary tools and parts organized and readily available to reduce equipment downtime.

Complete work orders accurately, including mileage, operating hours, and repair information.

Communicate emergency repair needs to the Shop Foreman and respond to priority assignments.

Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in an organized condition.

Follow required safety procedures and regulations.

Work with the team to complete repairs efficiently and on schedule.

Perform other shop and maintenance duties as needed.

Requirements

Schedule & Travel

Up to 50% travel.

Must be available 24/7 for emergency calls.

Must be willing to travel both out of town and out of state.

Ability to work extended hours and in varying weather conditions.

Physical Requirements

Frequent bending, twisting, stooping, walking, and lifting.

Regularly lift up to 50 lbs.

Assistance required for items weighing more than 75 lbs.

Comfortable working extended hours and outdoors in different weather conditions.
