High Voltage Technician - Electrical Maintenance (Saudi Arabia)

Eram Talent is seeking a skilled High Voltage Technician specializing in Electrical Maintenance to join a leading company in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of high voltage electrical equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on high-voltage electrical systems and equipment within water treatment and distribution facilities.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair high-voltage transformers, switchgear, circuit breakers, and associated electrical components used in water utilities.
• Inspect electrical systems in pumping stations, desalination plants, and water networks to identify faults and implement effective corrective actions.
• Ensure strict compliance with safety standards, electrical codes, and company policies, particularly in water utility environments.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs, service records, and prepare detailed technical reports.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and maintenance teams on system upgrades, expansions, and water infrastructure projects.
• Support installation, commissioning, and testing of electrical equipment in water and wastewater facilities.
• Adhere to high safety standards while working on both energized and de-energized systems, especially in wet and hazardous environments.

Requirements

• Technical diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in high-voltage electrical maintenance, preferably in water utilities (treatment plants, pumping stations, or desalination).
• Strong knowledge of transformers, switchgear, and circuit breakers.
• Skilled in troubleshooting and maintenance of high-voltage equipment.
• Familiar with electrical codes and safety regulations in Saudi Arabia.
• Basic knowledge of SCADA and motor control systems is an advantage.
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Willing to work in Saudi Arabia and follow company policies.
