• ​Provide compassionate, friendly, and professional customer service to patients and visitors.

• Greet patients and visitors, complete check-in, verify eligibility for medical marijuana, and ensure accurate, compliant transactions and fulfillment of patient orders while delivering a high-quality customer experience.

• Educate and assist patients in understanding medical marijuana to support informed decisions about their care.

• Assist patients and caregivers with cannabis recommendations, including product selection, effects, potency, dosing, methods of consumption, and administration.

• Support the intake and onboarding of new patients, including orientation to TerrAscend policies, rules, and procedures.

• Manage and maintain accurate patient records within the MJ Freeway system.

• Maintain thorough product knowledge and respond to patient questions or concerns promptly and efficiently, escalating to a dispensary healthcare practitioner or management team when appropriate.

• Maintain knowledge of state regulatory requirements and compliance guidelines.

• Deliver a distinctive and positive patient experience by demonstrating strong interpersonal skills (e.g., greeting, eye contact, courtesy) while ensuring patient confidentiality and security.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with patients and caregivers by anticipating needs and providing proactive support.

• Follow established policies and procedures related to customer service, staff management, patient and visitor management, inventory management, cash handling, state compliance, and safety and security.

• Oversee opening and closing procedures and daily operations, including Leader on Duty (LOD) responsibilities, floor zoning, and hourly tracking; partner with the Inventory Manager to ensure back-of-house processes run effectively.

• Assist senior dispensary leadership as needed to support overall store operations.

• Serve as an effective leader across seed-to-sale tracking systems, POS systems, Leaf Trade, and eCommerce platforms.

• Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.

• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED required.

• Cannabis experience a plus.

• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel  

• Must be available to work flexible schedules, including weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.

• Ability to create and maintain a customer-focused culture

• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.  

• Strong organizational, communication, computer, and multitasking skills.
