What You’ll Do:

  • Provide skilled occupational therapy treatment to patients in their homes under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
  • Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans focused on functional independence and daily living skills
  • Support patients recovering from illness, injury, surgery, or chronic conditions
  • Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic techniques, safety, and adaptive strategies
  • Accurately document visits, progress, and outcomes in the electronic medical record (EMR)
  • Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Requirements

  • Current certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in Texas.
  • Experience in home health care or a similar setting is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of the principles and practices of occupational therapy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with patients and their families.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a home health environment.
  • Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel to patient homes.
