Home Health Marketing/Business Development

Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

• Primary function is to act as liaison between Agency and the community regarding community and customer needs.
• Responsibilities include development and promotion of home health programs and services while maintaining the standards of practice consistent with quality health care and maximizing human, financial and equipment resources.
• Create and maintain healthcare contacts within assigned territory. Maintain daily contact with key hospital departments, physicians and their staff, discharge planners, social workers, and community representatives. Provide educational material concerning home care guidelines, Company services, and how Haven Home Health can assist their patients.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with senior associates, community representatives, and area health care facilities. Discuss and share new developments in home care.
• Maintain ongoing communication with employees of Haven Home Health to ensure the needs of the community and healthcare staff are being met.
• Assist in the development of new services, processes, or procedures to meet the needs or improve upon patient care. Assist in developing/updating community education material.
• Assist in developing and conducting yearly community education plans with appropriate financial resources
• Comply with all aspects of the Company’s Compliance Program and HIPPA regulations

Job Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• A minimum of two years of total progressive sales experience - ideally calling on physicians, hospitals, clinics and rehabilitation facilities or other related medical companies
• Ability to articulate the value of broad and comprehensive home health care service offerings
• Excellent planning and organizational skills
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all segments of the staff, the lay and professional public, the Board of Directors, Advisory Board, and Medical Director.
