A24 Group is a leading healthcare staffing and services group with over 30 years of experience across South Africa and the United Kingdom. We are building a dedicated homecare division and are looking for passionate, driven individuals to join us at the ground floor.

The Role

As a Homecare Consultant, you will sit at the heart of A24's homecare operation — managing active client cases while developing new referral relationships with case managers, GPs and specialist practitioners.

This is a hybrid role: part relationship builder, part case coordinator. You will be the named human contact for clients and referrers, ensuring every case is placed quickly, managed carefully, and delivered to the standard that keeps people coming back to A24.

What You'll Do

• Build and maintain relationships with hospital case managers, GPs, specialists and private-pay families.
• Respond to referrals same-day and coordinate nurse or care placement for homecare cases.
• Manage your active case portfolio — weekly family updates, monthly clinical reviews and escalation when needed.
• Identify and prospect new referral sources through outreach calls and hospital visits.
• Work closely with the Homecare Desk Manager to hit individual and team targets.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure every client has a seamless, professional experience.

What We're Looking For

• Background in healthcare, nursing, social work, healthcare staffing or a related field.
• Confident communicator — empathetic with families, professional with clinical referrers.
• Commercially minded with the ability to spot and develop new business opportunities.
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple active cases simultaneously.
• Understanding of the SA private healthcare landscape is an advantage.
• Genuine care for patients and families — this is not a transactional role.
