As Host Person - The Buffet at Wynn Las Vegas, you will serve as the first and last impression of the restaurant, creating a warm, welcoming, and seamless arrival experience for every guest. This role requires exceptional hospitality, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage guest flow efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume luxury dining environment. Host Persons are responsible for maintaining reservation systems, coordinating seating arrangements, and ensuring each guest receives service consistent with Wynn's Forbes Five-Star standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional guest service consistent with Forbes Five-Star standards and Wynn Las Vegas service expectations.
• Welcome guests with a warm, professional, and engaging demeanor while creating a memorable first impression.
• Manage guest check-in procedures, waitlists, reservations, and seating assignments to maximize efficiency and guest satisfaction.
• Accurately utilize reservation and table management systems to monitor dining room capacity and guest flow.
• Coordinate with management and service staff to maintain optimal seating availability and minimize guest wait times.
• Provide guests with accurate information regarding restaurant offerings, operating hours, menu selections, and special events.
• Anticipate guest needs and professionally assist with special requests, accessibility accommodations, and service recovery opportunities.
• Answer telephone inquiries promptly and professionally while assisting with reservations and guest questions.
• Maintain awareness of dining room operations to support seamless communication between front-of-house and management teams.
• Handle guest concerns with professionalism, urgency, and discretion, escalating matters to management when appropriate.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation standards of the host stand and reception area.
• Comply with all Wynn Las Vegas policies, procedures, and departmental standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience in a host, guest services, concierge, or hospitality-related role preferred.
• Previous experience in a luxury hotel, resort, fine dining, or high-volume restaurant environment preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage professionally with diverse guests and team members.
• Demonstrated commitment to delivering personalized, anticipatory service.
• Proficiency in utilizing reservation, point-of-sale, or table management systems preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to remain composed, professional, and solution-oriented during peak business periods.
• Must possess basic computer proficiency and keyboarding skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Fluency in English required; additional language skills are a plus.

• Must be able to obtain and maintain required work cards and licenses
• Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.
