Housekeeping Attendant

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and service guest rooms, suites, and assigned areas according to the hotel's luxury standards and procedures.

• Ensure guest rooms are presented to the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation.

• Make beds, replenish amenities, and replace linen and towels as required.

• Clean and maintain bathrooms, floors, furniture, fixtures, and other guest room areas.

• Report any maintenance issues, damages, lost and found items, or guest concerns promptly to the appropriate department or supervisor.

• Ensure all housekeeping equipment, supplies, and cleaning materials are used correctly and safely.

• Follow established procedures for handling guest belongings, lost and found items, and room access.

• Maintain a professional and discreet approach when working in guest rooms and interacting with guests.

• Respond courteously to guest requests and provide assistance when required.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of housekeeping pantries, trolleys, and back-of-house areas.

• Follow all health, safety, hygiene, and security standards at all times.

• Support the Housekeeping team with additional duties as required by the Supervisor or management.

Requirements

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Room Attendant or Housekeeping Attendant in a 5-star hotel or luxury hospitality environment is preferred.

• Good knowledge of guest room cleaning and housekeeping standards.

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

• Physically fit and able to perform housekeeping duties for extended periods.

• Professional, reliable, and guest-focused attitude.

• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

• Knowledge of health, safety, and hygiene practices is an advantage.
