Your purpose will be: To provide an extraordinary and seamless guest experience whilst communicating with all teams and ensuring a high attention to detail. A strong level of initiative and team spirit is essential in this role.Â

You will be accountable for:Â
Handle all internal and external calls to housekeeping and distribute information efficiently through full utilisation and monitoring of Opera, REX and RSMÂ
Working on a rotational basis – morning, evening and weekendsÂ
Setting teams up for success through undertaking of schedules, task lists, guest preparation and other administration tasksÂ
Supporting the leadership and able to cover supervisory supportÂ

Your key responsibilities & contribution will be:Â
Oversee staffing levels, timesheets, holiday requests, sicknessÂ
Deal with all telephone calls and requestsÂ
Keep close communication with Front OfficeÂ
Liaises with Front Office reception with the position of rooms.Â
Liaises with the Floor HousekeepersÂ
Deals with ContractorsÂ
General office dutiesÂ
Preparation of all arrival and in house guest requirementsÂ
To assist in any duty required for the smooth running of the department.Â
Records Lost & Found and deals with inquiries.Â
Carries out floor supervisor duties when requiredÂ
To comply with any reasonable requests by the Supervisor and Hotel Management.Â
Ensure all internal and external calls are handled according to our service standardsÂ
Knowledge of all telephone systemsÂ
Ensure clear communication channels and methods with all other departments in order to facilitate complete guest serviceÂ
Housekeeping and rooms coordination to ensure the smooth running of daily operationÂ
To initiate, develop and maintain excellent service standards with a consistent focus on the guest experience.Â
Qualifications
What you will need to do this role:Â
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written with the ability to communicate effectively with people of all levelsÂ
Proven organizational skills and able to work independently.Â
Enthusiastic and positive with the ability to build trusting relationshipsÂ
Ability to multi task and problem solve in a fast paced environmentÂ
Keen eye for detailÂ
Flexibility to work different shifts - mornings, evenings and weekendsÂ
