About this role

Our client, a well-established group offering a broad spectrum of specialised business and commercial services, is looking for a HR Admin to join their growing HR team.

This is a hybrid role offering a salary of up to €28K + performance bonus.

Please note that only candidates already based in Malta can be considered.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Act as the main point of contact for employees and HR matters

  • Manage the full recruitment cycle

  • Process work permit applications

  • Manage onboarding for new employees

  • Oversee employee engagement and termination processes

  • Maintain accurate and updated HR records and employee files

  • Develop and draft HR policies and procedures

  • Submit employee information to the relevant authorities and departments

  • Liaise with the payroll team to ensure timely updates

  • Coordinate performance appraisals and support managers with KPIs

  • Conduct training needs analysis and coordinate internal and external training

  • Support employee engagement initiatives, wellness activities, and team events

  • Prepare HR reports and workforce analytics

  • Assist the HR Manager with employee complaints and conflict resolution

Education, Skills & Experience

  • A-Level + standard of education

  • 1+ year of experience in a similar HR role

  • Good understanding of Maltese employment law and experience liaising with local entities

  • Excellent communication skills in English both written and spoken

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to handle sensitive situations professionally

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills

  • Keen eye for detail and ability to work independently

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

  • Proficient with MS Office Suite

About the Role

  • Salary of up to €28K plus performance bonus

  • Hybrid with flexible hours – on Fridays the office closes at 14:00
