Job Purpose
We are looking for an HR Director LATAM to lead the Human Resources agenda across Argentina, Chile and Brazil, acting as a strategic partner to senior business leaders and translating business priorities into effective HR strategies.
A key focus will be strategic workforce planning, organisational restructuring, change management and industrial relations, including strong engagement with unions and employee representatives. You will work closely with senior leaders to design and implement organisational change, anticipate workforce needs and support business performance across a complex, multinational manufacturing environment.
What you will be doing
Lead the LATAM Human Resources agenda across Argentina, Chile and Brazil, aligning regional priorities with Horse Powertrain's global Human Resources strategy and business objectives.
Drive strategic workforce planning and organisational design, anticipating future capability requirements and ensuring the workforce and organisation are aligned with business needs.
Lead organisational restructuring and transformation, partnering with senior leaders to design and implement changes that improve organisational effectiveness and business performance.
Drive change management, ensuring major organisational changes are clearly communicated, effectively implemented and supported by strong stakeholder and employee engagement.
Lead employee and industrial relations, building strong and constructive relationships with unions and employee representatives and managing complex labour situations across the region.
Partner with senior leadership on critical people decisions, providing insight and challenge on workforce, organisation, leadership and employee-related matters.
Build and strengthen leadership and talent pipelines, including succession planning, talent reviews and strategic recruitment for critical positions.
Lead and develop the LATAM HR team, ensuring strong local HR capability, consistent practices and effective collaboration across countries and with global Human Resources teams.
What we’re looking for
12+ years of Human Resources experience, including significant experience in a senior HR leadership role within a complex organisation.
Proven multi-country HR leadership experience, ideally across a multinational industrial or manufacturing environment.
Strong experience in industrial restructuring and organisational change, with a track record of translating business requirements into effective organisation and workforce solutions.
Deep experience in strategic workforce planning, including workforce optimisation, future capability planning and organisational design.
Strong union and industrial relations experience, including direct experience managing relationships and negotiations with unions and employee representatives.
Proven ability to work with senior business leaders and influence strategic decisions, with the credibility to challenge, advise and drive action.
Strong change management capability, with experience leading complex change through clear communication, stakeholder engagement and effective execution.
Fluent Portuguese, Spanish and English, with the cultural agility and stakeholder-management skills required to operate effectively across Argentina, Chile and Brazil.
