The chosen candidate will play a key role in ensuring efficient HR processes, employee engagement, and overall HR service delivery within the organisation.

This is an office-based role offering a salary of up to €35K, depending on experience.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Assist with daily HR operations

  • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date employee profiles

  • Coordinate the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, probation monitoring, evaluations, contract updates, and offboarding

  • Prepare HR documentation such as employment contracts, letters, updates, and policies

  • Support recruitment efforts, including job postings, screening, and interview coordination

  • Schedule interviews, performance appraisals, training sessions, and HR-related meetings

  • Maintain and update internal databases and HR systems

  • Coordinate internal events and wellbeing initiatives

  • Ensure compliance with HR procedures, company policies, and Maltese employment law

  • Support HR projects and any pending tasks within the department as needed

Education, Skills & Experience

  • 2+ years of experience in an HR role in Malta

  • Fluency in Maltese and English at a C2/native level, both written and spoken

  • Strong understanding of the HR cycle and HR best practices

  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills with a keen eye for detail

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written)

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Outlook

  • Knowledge of Shireburn Software is a plus

  • High level of discretion and confidentiality
