We are looking for a HR Specialist – Global Mobility (m/f/d) to join our team in Kuala Lumpur. In this role, you will combine hands-on operational case management for cross-border assignments with a compliance focus on immigration, tax, social security, and labor law topics. You will help ensure that our international workforce is managed in line with internal policies and external requirements.
- Manage and coordinate operational Global Mobility cases, especially international assignments, and related documentation
- Support visa, work permit, and relocation processes in cooperation with external vendors
- Research and summarize country-specific requirements
- Provide practical guidance on immigration, tax, social security, and labor law requirements in cross-border employment scenarios
- Support case escalations where needed and coordinate appropriate follow-up measures
- Maintain accurate records, trackers, and reporting on case status, compliance milestones, and document completion
- Contribute to process improvements, templates, and internal guidance documents to strengthen service quality and compliance
Qualifications
- Masters degree in Human Resources, Business, Law, or a comparable qualification
- Solid understanding and min. 3 years relevant experience in Global Mobility or HR compliance in an international environment
- Legal affinity is a strong advantage
- Structured, detail-oriented and reliable working style, with strong organizational and coordination skills.
- Experience collaborating effectively with a centrally managed overseas Global Mobility team and cross-functional stakeholders, including HR, Finance, Legal, Tax and business leaders.
- Excellent English skills, written and spoken; additional languages are a plus
- Proficiency in MS Office and confidence working with AI, digital tools, templates, and case trackers
