JOB SUMMARY


Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Human Resources & Administration Manager will be responsible for leading the organisation’s people and administrative functions. The role supports organisational effectiveness, compliance, and a positive workplace culture within a fast-paced creative environment.



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Directing and managing all Human Resources and people operations
  • Overseeing the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and exits
  • Providing guidance to management on employee relations, disciplinary matters, and performance issues
  • Ensuring compliance with Jamaican Labour Laws and internal HR policies
  • Developing, implementing, and maintaining HR policies, procedures, and best practices
  • Managing compensation, benefits administration, and payroll inputs in collaboration with Finance
  • Supervising and managing administrative and facilities staff
  • Supporting employee engagement, wellbeing, and learning initiatives
  • Advising leadership on workplace culture, morale, and organisational development



REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Management Studies, Business Administration, or equivalent qualification from a reputable university, plus a professional Human Resources certification
  • Minimum of five (5) years’ experience working in Human Resources and Administration at a management level
  • Strong knowledge of employment legislation and Jamaican Labour Laws
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Proven ability to lead, influence, and manage people effectively
  • High level of accuracy with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strategic, critical thinker with sound judgement
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Effective change management skills
