We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Human Resources Data Specialist to join our team in San Diego, United States. In this role, you will be responsible for leveraging data to drive strategic HR decisions and improve organizational effectiveness.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret HR data to provide actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making processes across HR functions
- Develop and maintain HR dashboards, reports, and predictive models using advanced analytics tools to support workforce planning
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with privacy regulations while analyzing HR metrics and KPIs to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Collaborate with HR teams to identify data needs, develop solutions, and provide training on data analysis and reporting tools
- Stay current with HR analytics best practices and emerging technologies to continuously improve data collection and analysis methods
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Data Science, Statistics, or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in HR data analysis or related field
- Advanced proficiency in HR analytics tools and software
- Strong data analysis and visualization skills
- Expertise in statistical analysis and data modeling
- Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
- Experience in data-driven decision-making processes
- In-depth knowledge of HR metrics and KPIs
- Familiarity with HRIS systems
- Understanding of HR best practices and trends
- Knowledge of labor laws and compliance regulations
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
- Effective communication skills to present complex data in a clear, concise manner
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Relevant HR or data analytics certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR, or data analytics certifications) preferred
