JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a collaborative and employee-focused Human Resources Generalist to support daily HR operations in a manufacturing environment. This role serves as a key resource for employees and leaders, providing support in employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, benefits administration, compliance, payroll, and HR programs while helping foster a positive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary point of contact for employee HR-related questions and support.
- Assist with employee relations matters, investigations, conflict resolution, and corrective actions.
- Support recruiting activities, including job postings, candidate screening, interview coordination, and offer processing.
- Coordinate new hire onboarding, orientations, and employment documentation.
- Maintain employee records and process personnel actions, including hires, transfers, promotions, and terminations.
- Assist with benefits administration, open enrollment, leave administration, and employee inquiries.
- Support payroll processing, timekeeping audits, and attendance tracking.
- Partner with leaders on performance management, coaching, and employee development initiatives.
- Track HR metrics and support engagement, retention, and continuous improvement programs.
- Coordinate employee events, recognition activities, and plant engagement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, employment laws, and HR procedures.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee and business information.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of Human Resources experience.
- Strong knowledge of HR practices, employee relations, and personnel systems.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and HRIS systems.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred:
- Human Resources experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience administering FMLA and leave programs.
- Experience with ADP, Kronos, Workforce Management (WFM), or similar time and attendance systems.
- Experience supporting payroll and benefits administration.
Salary Range: $65,000 - $75,000
Schedule: 2nd Split Shift (Monday-Friday), 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM.
