OVERVIEW
As a Human Resources (HR) Generalist, you will be responsible for a wide range of HR functions, inclusive of employee relations and talent acquisition. This is a hands-on role that directly impacts the team delivering high-energy guest experiences in a fast-paced environment. Experience within the hospitality and restaurant industries is a plus. The HR Generalist is passionate about getting the details right, anticipating team members and management needs, and advancing the Level99 brand.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Talent Acquisition:
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, conducting interviews, active sourcing, and facilitating the onboarding process. Requisitions range from G&A roles to operational roles at our hospitality-focused entertainment venues.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand needs and contribute to the development of effective hiring strategies.
  • Employee Relations:
  • Act as a trusted advisor to team members and management, providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Address and resolve employee relations issues, conducting investigations when necessary, and ensuring a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • HR Policies and Compliance:
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Keep abreast of changes in employment laws and regulations and update policies accordingly.
  • Performance Management:
  • Support performance management processes, including goal-setting, performance reviews, and professional development plans.
  • Provide guidance to managers on effective performance management and employee development.
  • Payroll & Benefits Administration:
  • Assist in the payroll process, including the upkeep for information within our UKG platform.
  • Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
  • Maintain a positive, upbeat, pro-active attitude and deliberately inspire the same in co-workers.
  • Working on special projects, and other duties, as assigned.

    • MUST-HAVE SKILLS

  • 8+ years of Human Resources experience; with experience in the hospitality industry
  • Experience with recruitment, including active sourcing.
  • Experience with employee relations - especially understanding the dynamics of the service industry.
  • Must possess outstanding organizational, interpersonal, and administrative skills, as well as excellent attention to detail.
  • Must have the ability to promote positive, fair, and ethical relations with all team members as an ambassador of the Level99 brand.
  • Must be able to navigate confidential matters with tact and diplomacy.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
  • Requires strong computer skills and proficiency in Google Suite and/or Microsoft Office specifically Word, Excel, & PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs.
  • Ability to travel periodically as required for staffing and operations in multiple venues.
  • A reliable car, current driver's license and safe driving record are required.

    • OTHER DESIRABLE (BUT NOT NECESSARY) SKILLS & EXPERIENCE INCLUDE

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, or a related business field, or equivalent experience required
  • Multi-state knowledge and experience
  • Experience with the UKG HRIS
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems
  • Familiarity with Human Resources law and compliance
  • Knowledge of a second language, particularly Portuguese or Spanish, a plus
