Our client, a publicly- quoted company, is a well established end to end ground logistics business, with a 2 decade long pedigree re-defining the standards of the transportation business in Nigeria.
Consistent with its desire to maintain the highest possible standards with its business processes and people- management practice, the company is looking to fill the following positions in its operations.
- Successful Candidates will assume Group-wide responsibility for human capital management and general administration in the company.
- Essentially, he will be expected to provide leadership and professional guidance to the executive team on all issues, policies and strategies to guide the company in proactively shaping its response to its workforce and workplace challenges, design and execute Human Resources and corporate administration strategies in alignment with the overall business vision, plan and implement high performance oriented, best practice HCM systems, and advise on employee relations and communication strategies that maximize workforce engagement, coalescence and commitment.
- In addition, he will be expected to provide robust real time people management consultancy support to line management, participate as a contributing, strategic thinking member of the management team, supervise the learning and Development and security functions of the organization and provide leadership for Group talent formation administrative excellence and business efficiency.
Qualifications
- Very good university degree, a minimum of 2nd class honours in the social science, business studies, humanities etc.
- Possession of an advanced degree in business or human resources management is definitely an advantage.
- Minimum of 10years experience with in-depth exposure in Human Resource Management is definitely an advantage.
- Minimum of 10years experience with in depth exposure in human Resources Management, Preferably in the manufacturing or logistics or service industries.
- Knowledge of contract award process and facility management.
- Membership of any relevant professional bodies such as CIPM, NIM.
- High integrity, profound professionalism, strong communication skills, as well as very good knowledge of spreadsheet, word processing and presentation software’s.
- Age, not below 40 years.
