HVAC Commercial Service Technician

Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Commercial HVAC Technician to join our team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. You’ll work with equipment ranging from, but not limited to, rooftop package units, split systems, VRF systems, air-cooled chillers, and boilers. Your expertise will keep our customers’ operations running smoothly, efficiently, and comfortably year-round.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on commercial HVAC systems
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues in systems ranging from rooftop package units, split systems, VRF systems, air-cooled chillers, and boilers
• Complete service calls promptly, professionally, and with a focus on customer satisfaction
• Ensure all work meets industry standards, safety requirements, and manufacturer guidelines
• Keep detailed records of services performed, parts used, and recommendations for future work
• Collaborate with team members and communicate clearly with customers regarding service findings and solutions

Qualifications

Experience & Technical Knowledge

• 5+ years of commercial HVAC service experience required
• Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC systems including rooftop units, split systems, VRF, air-cooled chillers, and boilers

Certifications

• EPA Certification required
• Additional HVAC certifications a plus

Skills

• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Strong communication and customer service skills

Other Qualifications

• Must pass a background check
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
