Job Summary

The HVAC Maintenance Technician is responsible for the preventative maintenance, inspection, troubleshooting, and basic repair of HVAC systems across Black Butte Ranch facilities. This role supports guest and employee comfort by ensuring HVAC systems operate safely and efficiently while managing filter replacement programs and HVAC-related inventory.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and minor repairs on HVAC systems.
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate with contractors for complex repairs.
  • Execute scheduled HVAC filter replacements across multiple facilities.
  • Monitor indoor air quality and identify filtration-related system concerns.
  • Maintain inventory of HVAC filters, parts, and maintenance supplies.
  • Respond to HVAC-related work orders and service requests.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
  • Support general maintenance operations as needed.


Qualifications

  • 2+ years of HVAC, facilities maintenance, or related experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of HVAC systems and preventative maintenance practices.
  • Experience with inventory management or materials tracking preferred.
  • Strong organizational, troubleshooting, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Valid driver's license required.


Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work on ladders, rooftops, and in mechanical spaces.
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
