Sheren Plumbing & Heating is hiring an HVAC & Plumbing Apprentice to support commercial mechanical construction projects throughout Traverse City and Northern Michigan.

Your New Role

• Assist HVAC technicians, plumbers, and mechanical installers on commercial projects

• Help install piping, mechanical equipment, HVAC systems, and plumbing systems

• Use hand tools, power tools, and mechanical equipment

• Move, stage, and organize materials, equipment, and jobsite supplies

• Perform general apprentice and construction duties

• Follow jobsite safety procedures and instructions

• Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather and jobsite conditions

• Travel to jobs throughout Traverse City and the surrounding Northern Michigan service area

Requirements

• At least 1 year of HVAC and/or plumbing experience

• Previous hands-on experience assisting with HVAC or plumbing installation, service, or construction work

• Mechanical aptitude and comfort using hand and power tools

• Ability to perform the physical duties required for HVAC and plumbing work

• Ability to follow instructions and established jobsite safety procedures

• Dependable attendance and consistent work habits

• Willingness to continue learning HVAC, plumbing, piping, and mechanical installation

• Ability to work throughout Traverse City and the surrounding Northern Michigan service area
