As the Hygiene & Waste Team Manager, you will be responsible for leading and developing your team to successfully deliver the Youfoodz manufacturing plan. You will drive team performance to meet production schedules while ensuring compliance with all safety, quality, and manufacturing standards. This role is based in Karawatha, Brisbane and reporting to Low Risk/High Risk Production Manager.

You will…

• Deliver the Youfoodz manufacturing plan ensuring compliance with all safety, quality, plan attainment, and cost standards.
• Provide leadership and direction for the team through training, coaching, and mentoring.
• Oversee daily washroom operations, bin room operations, and site waste removal.
• Manage ordering of chemicals, PPE, consumables, and maintain titration rate documentation.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve line efficiencies and minimize process waste.
• Ensure team compliance with site food safety, hygiene protocols, GMP, and WH&S policies.

You have/are…

• 5 years' experience in a food manufacturing environment.
• At least 2 years' experience leading frontline leaders or large operational teams.
• Strong understanding of WH&S, HACCP, and food manufacturing compliance requirements.
• Demonstrated success improving operational performance in efficiency, waste, and labor utilization.
• A Valid Forklift License
• A resilient and adaptable leader with a strong leadership presence.
• Data-driven with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• An excellent communicator capable of building strong cross-functional relationships.

Start Date: Immediately available - Can wait a notice period

Duration: Permanent full time role, you must have the right to work full-time in Australia/New Zealand
