We’re hiring an experienced Immigration Specialist to lead and coordinate all aspects of employee immigration lifecycle and mobility. You’ll play a key role in creating a smooth and positive experience for international employees, guiding them through every stage of the immigration journey, from pre-arrival and onboarding to ongoing employment.
Responsibilities
Manage corporate immigration and mobility processes for international employees and their dependents, including:
work permits;
visas;
residence permits;
relocations;
naturalization.
Prepare and submit immigration applications and supporting documentation (e.g., EU Blue Card Permits, hosting visas, e-visas, and non-domicile applications).
Advise employees and their families on immigration, relocation, onboarding, and offboarding matters.
Support employee relocations, including assistance with bank account setup and obtaining official documents.
Liaise with government authorities, embassies, external legal/immigration providers, and internal stakeholders; attend authorities when required for submissions, collections, and follow-ups.
Monitor visa and permit expirations and maintain accurate immigration records.
Ensure compliance with immigration, labour, and regulatory requirements in Cyprus and the rest of the world.
Track legislative changes and provide guidance on immigration risks, policies, and processes.
Develop immigration procedures and collaborate with HR, Administration, and external stakeholders to support employee mobility.
Requirements
Excellent Knowledge of Greek & English language.
Minimum of 3–5+ years of dedicated, hands-on Cyprus immigration experience (ideally a blend of provider/law-firm side and corporate in-house global mobility).
Advanced proficiency in data tracking systems (Excel/Notion/HRIS trackers) with exceptional organizational and time-management capabilities.
Knowledge of local labour law.
Handle sensitive employee and legal information securely and with confidentiality.
Previous experience preparing and successfully submitting employment permit applications (BCR/foreign interest companies).
