About this role
For our client – a well-established Danish company specializing in the production of prefabricated bathroom modules for large-scale construction projects (hotels, residential buildings, healthcare facilities) – we are currently looking for an Independent Accountant to join their finance team in Rakowice Małe, Lower Silesia.
Scope of responsibilities:
• Posting purchase invoices – cost and material-related
• Posting sales invoices and other business transactions
• Participation in monthly closing processes
• Managing fixed assets records and calculating depreciation
• Reconciling and analyzing general ledger accounts
• Organizing and supervising inventory processes
• Preparing standard periodic reports (GUS, NBP)
• Preparing and verifying VAT data and JPK files
• Active participation in the preparation of financial statements
• Communication with internal and external stakeholders (via email and phone)
Requirements:
• Degree in finance, economics, or accounting
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in accounting (as Independent or Senior Accountant)
• Solid knowledge of tax regulations (VAT, CIT) and accounting standards
• Experience with ERP systems (preferably Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2017) and MS Office (especially Excel)
• English level: minimum B2
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Accuracy, analytical thinking, and sense of responsibility (including large-value bank transfers and system exports/imports)
• Experience in team coordination will be considered an advantage
