Industrial Trainee – Finance IM (TIS Team)

What you'll do

• Maintain and update centralized trackers and databases for financing agreements, contractual obligations, and project documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness at all times •
• Support dataroom operations — including document classification, posting, allocation, and follow-up on open requests in coordination with internal and external stakeholders
• Assist with distribution of periodic financial reports and investor-facing documents, ensuring timely and accurate delivery •
• Support the Letters of Credit administration process including tracker maintenance, bank coordination, and renewal follow-ups
• Download, organize, and post monthly bank statements across 20+ banking counterparties, following established folder structures and naming conventions •
• Contribute to amendment tracker maintenance classifying and recording changes to financing agreements on a regular cadence •
• Assist with audit support activities including confirmation tracking, document retrieval, and stakeholder coordination during audit cycles •
• Identify opportunities to reduce manual effort in recurring workflows and support the team on automation projects using available tools and platforms

Qualifications

• Be proficient in Excel — including formulas, pivot tables, and data organisation; experience with VBA or macros is preferred
• Have prior exposure to or interest in SQL, Python, or similar tools for working with and querying structured datasets
• Have experience with or curiosity about AI-powered productivity tools — such as Claude, Cowork, ChatGPT, or similar — and an interest in applying them to automate and improve workflows
• Have built or contributed to apps, dashboards, or automated solutions — using platforms such as Power BI, Lovable, or no-code/low-code tools — or have a strong interest in doing so
• Be organised, reliable, and proactive — able to follow established processes consistently, flag gaps without being prompted, and communicate clearly with the team
• Have a strong eye for detail and a structured, methodical approach to working with data and documents
