Influencer Community Coordinator

the job:

as amika's influencer community coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the influencer team in community growth inclusive of our brand ambassador program, TYB community, creator seeding, list building, mailing calendar support, relationship building + more. reporting to our influencer + partnerships manager, this is a dynamic, hands-on role centered on building + nurturing our creator + consumer community, ideal for someone who is passionate about turning creators into long-term brand advocates.

salary: $70,000 + bonus

location: Brooklyn, NY (must be based in New York + have the right to work in the US)

what you'll do:

• manage brand ambassador program on TYB including opt-in campaign management, affiliate payments, onboarding, contracts,gifting+ product replenishment

• overseebrand ambassador scale, ensuring program is growing MoM + YoY with high retention rates; convert best in class BAs to long term paid partners when relevant

• support relationship building initiatives acrossgreater influencer community inclusive of surprise + delight moments, regional events + community shoots

• identify,outreach + nurture relationships with net new up-and-coming creatorsvia always-on seeding

• assistwithdaily outreach + communication with influencers to ensuretimelyresponses across platforms

• assistwith brainstorming, managing+executing mailersfor variousamikacampaigns, including support with managing design submissions,buildingtargeted influencer lists,shipping+tracking results

• admin support includingproductsendoutsfor influencers+ VIPs,product closet management,order fulfillment+ invoice submission

• assistwith monthly reportingand KPI tracking

• continuouslymonitor+ report onbest-in-classinfluencer activations, trends, mailers, events+ more,identifyinghow they can connect to overallamikabrand strategies  

• collaborate cross-functionallywithsocial media,paid media, brand marketing,ecomm+creative teams to fuel departmental needs

must haves:

• 1+year of experience in influencer marketing(preferably in beauty or hair)

• BA/BAin Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, or a related fieldpreferred

• strong familiarity with Tribe Dynamics,CreatorIQ, TYB+similar tools

• genuine enthusiasmand knowledge ofthe beauty industry+influencer marketing landscape

• thrives in dynamic, high-energy environments that are constantly evolving

• proactive mindset witha strong desireto learn+contribute

• strong written+verbal communication skills

• excellent time management+organizational skills

• detail-focused with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• fast learner with strong problem-solving skills

• works well in a collaborative setting+is equally effective when working independently

• familiar with Microsoft Office, especially Excel+PowerPoint
