Infrastructure Automation Engineer (LATAM)

Job Description:

Aubrant Digital is seeking a DevOps/Infrastructure Automation Engineer to expand configuration management and automation coverage across a 2,000+ server environment. This is a hands-on contributor role focused on Chef and Ansible-based automation, infrastructure provisioning, and CI/CD pipeline development to reduce manual operational toil.

Must-Have Requirements

• Hands-on expertise with Chef and Ansible for configuration management and automation.
• Infrastructure provisioning and orchestration experience at scale.
• CI/CD pipeline development and maintenance experience.
• Strong scripting skills across Python, Bash, and PowerShell.

Should-Have Requirements

• Exposure to Azure infrastructure-as-code tooling (ARM templates, Bicep, or Terraform).
• Experience integrating automation workflows with monitoring platforms (Datadog, Prometheus).
• Ability to identify manual, repeatable operational tasks and convert them into automated workflows.

Could-Have / Nice-to-Have Requirements

• Experience automating VMware provisioning and lifecycle tasks.
• Experience operating in large-scale environments (2,000+ virtual servers).
• Familiarity with branching strategies and pull-request-based code review workflows.
