Infrastructure Engineer with Expertise in Kubernetes and AWS (f/m/d)

Your tasks

• Design, implement and manage infrastructure with Kubernetes and AWS
• Collaborate with our Ruby/Elixir backend team to containerize applications and deploy them on Kubernetes
• Optimize Kubernetes cluster performance, resource utilization, and cost-effectiveness
• Implement and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions with Grafana/Prometheus
• Ensure the security of our environments by following best practices and implementing security controls
• Automate Kubernetes deployment and management processes using Helm, Kustomize, Flux and Pulumi
• Maintain service communication using Linkerd
• Integrate application dependencies like RabbitMQ, PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka, Snowflake, DynamoDB
• Help plan and take ownership of deploying and maintaining our internal tools
• Deal with the challenges of an established and continuously growing project

Your profile

• Proven experience as a Kubernetes engineer or similar role (e.g. DevOps engineer with Kubernetes focus)
• Deep understanding of Kubernetes concepts, components, and APIs
• Strong knowledge of Linux architecture and administration
• Enjoy problem solving and have a keen eye for details
• Thrive in a small, agile team environment
• Love giving and receiving constructive feedback
• Independent, precise, and well-organized work style
• Enjoy to share knowledge and learn
• Driven by the challenge of delivering high-performance and scalable solutions
• Proficient in English; speaking German is a plus
