Job Title: Infrastructure Facilities Assistant

Location: Keflavik

Responsibilities/goals (Ábyrgðarsvið/markmið): As an Infrastructure Assistant, you will work under the direct supervision of a team member, supporting daily infrastructure tasks. You’ll play a key role in helping the team execute operational and maintenance duties efficiently. This is a support-focused role with no independent responsibilities, ideal for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in a collaborative setting.

Job/project description (Verkþættir/verkefni):

• Assist with daily tasks as assigned and supervised by a member of the infrastructure team.
  Example tasks include:
  • Conducting inspections as outlined in the maintenance program.
  • Performing maintenance work within infrastructure systems.
  • Supporting general upkeep and cleanliness of the facility.
• Maintain exterior infrastructure:
  • Roads, fences, gates, and other site facilities.
  • Provide snow removal and other seasonal services.
• Contribute to company culture:
  • Help foster a cohesive, inclusive, and collaborative environment across our sites in Iceland.

Requirements

• Valid forklift license (mandatory).
• Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision.
• A positive attitude, reliability, and a willingness to learn.
