Injection Molding Process Support Technician

About the Role

US Conec is seeking a Molding Process Support Technician to join our manufacturing team! In this hands-on role, you will support the setup, operation, and maintenance of injection molding machines in a high-volume, fast-paced manufacturing environment. You’ll work closely with Process, Tooling, Quality, Maintenance, and Production teams to keep operations running efficiently while maintaining quality and safety standards.

What You'll Do

• Start up and shut down injection molding machines according to established procedures and production priorities.

• Respond to machine alarms, troubleshoot issues, and restart equipment following corrective action.

• Perform routine mold cleaning and parting line preventive maintenance.

• Document process setup sheets and maintain accurate records.

• Clean presses of debris and purged materials.

• Verify that molds are operating within established process parameters at startup.

• Ensure finished parts, scrap, and runner waste are properly contained and handled.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve production challenges.

• Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe molding floor.

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or GED required.

• 2+ years of experience in molding operations.

• Strong mechanical aptitude and basic math skills.

• Detail-oriented with a methodical approach to troubleshooting and completing tasks.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

• Experience with Sumitomo and Sodick injection molding machines is a strong plus.
