Inside Sales Representatives are key members of the Open Road Sales team, serving as the front line for direct-to-driver activities. Responsibilities:
oGrow direct to driver portfolio through new sales and customer retention efforts
oDrive growth by balancing account management with proactive new business development, leveraging cold calling, networking, and strategic lead generation
oObtain customer referrals to expand program footprint
oComplete driver applications and submit for activation
oParticipate in weekly sales meetings and contribute to a positive work environment
oManage daily schedule
oMeet and exceed monthly sales quota and goals
oOther duties and special projects as assigned
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
oMinimum of 1 year of sales experience required; inside sales experience is a plus, and experience in the transportation or logistics industry is highly desirable
oGoal-oriented and motivated by success
oStrong telephone presence with a proven ability to engage prospects through substantial phone-based communication; enthusiasm for cold calling and building relationships is essential.
oEffective ability to provide a professional company image to prospects
oExcellent time management, prioritization, and organizational skills with the ability to multitask
oAbility to work independently and as part of a team and manage your time effectively
oExperience working with Customer Relationship Management System (CRM)
oExcellent oral and written communication skills
oDemonstrate problem-solving and negotiation skills
oHigh School diploma or GED
oBilingual skills are a plus but not required
