You will support the Public Sector sales team by managing internal sales activities across a shared account base, helping progress opportunities through the channel, and coordinating with account owners to drive pipeline, customer engagement, and successful deal execution. This role does not carry a dedicated territory and reports to the Public Sector Sales Manager.

Goals:
Support team pipeline progression. Improve deal velocity, accuracy and customer responsiveness.

IMPORTANT:
This is a 12-month fixed-term contract (FTC) role providing maternity cover.

What will you do:

Support the Public Sector sales team by helping manage pipeline, qualify opportunities, and maintain accurate CRM records across shared accounts.
•Coordinate internal sales activities including quote generation, bid administration, order progression, and customer follow-up.
•Work closely with territory owners and channel partners to progress opportunities and ensure timely responses to customer and partner requests.
•Help prepare proposals, RFI/RFP responses, renewal paperwork, and other sales documentation for Public Sector opportunities.
•Partner with Sales Engineers, Customer Success, Deal Desk, and other internal teams to keep opportunities moving efficiently through the sales cycle.
•Maintain consistent customer and partner communications, ensuring high responsiveness and professional follow-through.
•Track key actions, deadlines, and dependencies across active opportunities to support forecast accuracy and on-time deal execution.
•Build knowledge of Public Sector buying processes, framework routes, and customer requirements to support the wider team effectively.
