Our people are at the heart of what we do. We bring together talented people with different experiences, perspectives and expertise to solve complex problems, challenge the status quo and make a real impact for our clients.
We're growing, and we're looking for an Insight Analyst to join our Customer Success and Analytics function, supporting our CPG products and customers.
About the role
We're looking for an Insight Analyst to help our Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) customers turn complex data into better commercial decisions.
You'll develop dashboards, scorecards and reporting across our CPG products, helping customers measure promotional effectiveness, compliance, revenue growth and return on investment. Through clear insights and post-event analysis, you'll help them understand performance and identify opportunities to improve future activity.
Reporting to our Customer Success Director, you'll work within our Customer Success and Analytics function, partnering with Product, Engineering and customer stakeholders to translate business challenges into practical analytical solutions.
What you'll be doing
- Developing, maintaining and improving customer-facing dashboards, scorecards and reporting across Retail Insight's CPG products.
- Analysing data from multiple sources to deliver clear, commercially relevant insights.
- Helping CPG customers measure promotional effectiveness, compliance, revenue growth and return on investment.
- Delivering post-event analysis to understand promotional results and inform future decisions.
- Investigating discrepancies and resolving data quality issues to ensure accurate, consistent reporting.
- Supporting consistent reporting frameworks, KPI definitions and analytical methods across customers and markets.
- Working with Customer Success and customer stakeholders to understand their objectives and translate them into analytical solutions.
- Collaborating with Product and Engineering to improve reporting and analytical capabilities.
What we're looking for
- At least three years' experience in analytics, reporting, business intelligence or customer-facing insight roles.
- Strong Power BI, SQL, data modelling and dashboard development skills.
- Knowledge of Revenue Growth Management, Trade Promotion Management, promotional analytics or post-event analytics.
- Experience with Snowflake or Databricks
- A strong understanding of data quality, reconciliation and root cause analysis.
- The ability to turn complex datasets into actionable business insights and explain recommendations to technical and business stakeholders.
- Experience supporting customer success, value realisation and business performance improvement.
- A master's degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, STEM or relevant professional experience
- A customer-focused, collaborative approach, strong attention to detail and confidence working with ambiguity.
Bonus points if you also have
- Experience in technology, SaaS, retail analytics, FMCG or consulting.
- An understanding of self-service reporting and how to make insights more accessible to customers.
- Knowledge of AI-enabled analytics and modern data architectures.
- An interest in improving reporting processes and developing new analytical approaches.
Don't tick every box? That's okay. If the role sounds exciting and you think you could bring something to the team, we'd still love to hear from you.
