About the Role

As a Installation Technician, you will play a key role in helping homeowners improve their comfort and lower their utility bills through our core services, which include air sealing and insulation in attics and basements. This is a hands-on role where you'll work directly with our customers to enhance the energy efficiency of their homes, making a real difference in their daily lives.

We’re seeking an adaptable and reliable individual who can see a job through from start to finish. The ideal candidate will be a team player, able to communicate effectively with both customers and co-workers. Knowledge of home construction and building science is a plus, but if you don’t have direct experience, we’re happy to train the right person. Key Responsibilities

  • Install energy-saving solutions such as insulation and air sealing in attics and basements
  • Provide excellent customer service by ensuring a clean, professional, and respectful work environment
  • Work closely with a team to complete projects on time and to company standards
  • Operate tools and equipment safely and efficiently
  • Maintain accurate records of daily tasks and job progress

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of home construction, building science, or trades is helpful, but not required
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Willingness to learn and grow in the energy efficiency field
  • Physical Requirements:
    • Ability to climb ladders and work in tight spaces
    • Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 35 lbs., occasionally up to 50 lbs.
    • Ability to wear a respirator

Other Requirements

  • Valid Class C driver’s license

Compensation and Benefits

  • Wage: $23 – $28/hour, depending on experience + Monthly bonus plan
  • Hiring Bonus: $1000

Work Schedule

  • Full-time, typically 40 hours per week
